Good Day Men & Women of Purpose

My 'life's' Purpose has been hinged on FINDING my Purpose...or at least for the last 13 years or so...Along my journey I discovered most of my purpose is connected to me encouraging, supporting and inspiring others to pursue their purpose; with passion...and this is where I teach, lead and guide others to the ONE who created "Purpose" itself...

After a few years Hiatus from Blogging, due to the birth of my 3rd child and what felt like God's silence...The Mind of Mie Blog is back but NOW as The Mind of Mie TV, also known as TMMTV...For years I have struggled with developing a love for reading...I have gotten better but I have a lot of work to do, so for those of you like me, this NEW YouTube channel is JUST FOR YOU!!!!!  If you don't like to read, just click on over to the YouTube Channel MieTV and SUBSCRIBE to "WATCH" what's on my mind! 

The Mind of Mie is MY perspective on life, from a Christian lens!  I have been through so many things in life, as has everyone...I have experienced life without a relationship with God and with one and I must say, although challenges STILL exist, there is a sweet hope and comfort knowing NOW I'm not going through it ALONE...So stop by The Mind Of Mie TV (TMMTV) on YouTube and see for yourself!

LIFE

It is AMAZING how you, as a woman and as a mother go through MANY changes! I have 3 children and my relationship with each of them is different.  Most of it is my fault though (I believe) and I am desperately praying and taking action to changing that! My husband and I have a 7 year old, a 5 (soon to be 6) year old and a 7 month old! 
What prompted my writing to you today, well I had an issue arise where I might have to take antibiotics, which would cause me to stop breastfeeding my son for the period of time on them.  This has completely stressed me out. One reason is because my son is exclusively breastfed. I desire (as I did with the other 2 children to breastfeed for a year!). He gets no formula at all and I am a stay at home mom, so it is challenging for "ME" to pump!  The trade off, and options for me to choose from, when the baby is sleeping or sitting quietly is do I Pump OR Cook, or Pump OR Clean, or Pump OR Eat, OR Pump OR Bathe, ORRRRR Pump OR SLEEP...WELLLL the later always wins!!!!  
So needless to say our baby is attached to me and the milk I supply! If you are a mom and ever breastfed, you know how difficult something like this would be for baby! Although, as I am laying in bed, nursing my 7 month old, I must admit I love the fact that I am able to provide him nourishment, comfort.....

Awww ok so this is where I left off in January of 2013 and it is now December 2016....Talk about being away for a loooooooooonnnnnnnnggggg time! It is pretty cool coming to my blogs a reading a bunch of "draft" posts I never completed and published lol! It's also great to know....I SURVIVED this time, and take comfort in the fact you will survive where you are right now too!!!

Life with a Newborn...AGAIN: The Changing of the Tide

The moment you pass the frustration and constand demand of being a built in soup kitchen!!!!!!!!!!

Being a mom of three (7yrs, 5yrs & 4 months) is challenging...to say the least lol, although each day is teaching me IT's do-able and it DOES get easier (depending on the day)!

Well, this time around I am nursing exclusively!  We supplemented with our last two! It is VERY different! For about three and a half months..............

Sooooo...just to paint the picture of what "Life with a newborn was like....I started writing this when my son was 4 months....And he is now.....3 years old 😂😂😂!!! Good job to me 👏! A lot has happened since October of 2013....but I can't fill you in right now!!! Who knows, maybe now that the children are older, I'll have a little more time to write! But as for this moment -- It's 8:39am, I came home a bit ago from dropping the girls off at school, and now...well I'm back in the bed....about to take a much needed nap before I get up, be mommy and wife and then play catch up on some homework 📚! Yes..it's really been too long!!! I'll fill you in soon! Until then...Happy Parenting!
